At TMJ School of Dance, we offer three specialized training divisions designed to provide high-quality dance education for students ages 3 and up. Whether pursuing a professional career in dance or engaging in recreational training for personal enrichment, our structured programs ensure that every student receives age-appropriate, skill-building instruction that nurtures their growth and passion for movement.

Spring Training Academy

Join us for the TMJ School of Dance Spring Training Academy, a 6-week developmental program crafted for young dancers ages 4 and up.
This immersive experience is designed to strengthen technical skills and ignite artistic growth through focused training in classical ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, acrobatics, and performance repertoire.
Featuring our highly qualified faculty with years of teaching and performance experience. Our instructors hold certifications in Ballet Technique, Lester Horton Technique, and Acrobatics, ensuring each dancer receives expert, well-rounded training.
Classes will be held Friday evenings from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, running April 25 through June 6, 2025.
The program will culminate in a dynamic presentation of student work during the TMJ School of Dance 4th Annual Recital on June 7, 2025 — a celebration of progress, passion, and performance!


Junior Division
(Ages 3-7) – Building Foundations in Dance
Our Jr. Division introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of movement, rhythm, and coordination in a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment.
This division focuses on:

Basic dance technique and creative movement

Building confidence, discipline, and classroom etiquette

Enhancing motor skills, musicality, and body awareness

Professional Division
(Ages 8-14) – Training the Next Generation of Artists
Designed for dedicated and serious young dancers, the Professional Division provides rigorous, pre-professional training to prepare students for careers in dance, secondary education programs, and conservatory training.
This division emphasizes:

Technical excellence in ballet, jazz, modern, cultural dance forms, and acrobatics

Artistic development through choreography, improvisation, and performance opportunities

A structured curriculum that builds strength, flexibility, and endurance

Students in the Professional Division have the opportunity to audition for the TMJSOD Dance Company and participate in competitions, masterclasses, and intensives to further their training.

Recreational Division
(Ages 8-14) – Dance for Passion & Enjoyment
Our Recreational Division is ideal for students who love to dance but may not be pursuing a professional career.
This program offers:
